My fascination with regeneration began during my Master's studies in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine at FH Technikum Vienna. Today, as a PhD student, I explore how axolotls can regenerate complex tissues and why mice respond so differently to injury. By comparing these two biological strategies, I am working on the cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive successful tissue repair and regeneration. Ultimately, my research aims to understand what enables some organisms to regenerate so effectively.
