Amirhossein studied pharmacy (PharmD) in Iran, where he developed an interest in senescence and aging. He then moved to Austria to join Johannes Kepler University Linz, where he worked on senescence plasticity in cancer. He subsequently joined our lab and enrolled as a PhD student at the Medical University of Vienna, with an emphasis on aging and regeneration. His research focuses on using bioinformatics tools and current knowledge of wound healing to better understand aging and, ultimately, age-associated pathologies.
